Hovlandsnuten Opp is a mountain race in Sauda that is suitable for both young and old, fit or unfit. The course starts at Risvoll School and finishes at the top of Hovlandsnuten, 931 meters above sea level. All you need is a little bit of determination. The race is free of charge, and everyone receives medals and has a chance to win prizes – you get a ticket at the top. This year, there is a water station only at the summit.

- The race was started in 2007 by Åge Fjellheim Midthun and Per Inge Fjellheim.
- The course is 6.7 km long and has hosted the Norwegian Championship in uphill running both in 2014 and 2022.
